Extreme weekend activities
A little late in sharing… Last weekend we shifted, spakled(sp??), painted, sanded and hung. It was quite exciting and all in preparation for new furniture!! AND it’s not Ikea!! I feel so grown up….
Lime green in action! Needs some friends on the wall around her but we’re working on it. Yes, those are vogue issues by year and date spanning neatly across the bottom of the hutch with a few Bazaars to mix it up. I Love that those are all for work! Who knew I’d get to grow up and play with beautiful glossies all the time?

Mackage
totally wearable. Great pieces in camel and evergreen. Closing black dress with jeweled front was incredible! Hit the floor running to catch a cab outside lincoln centerblike the rest of the world but I did prevail and am almost home sweet

Kick-ass assigned seat! Score:) I love the evil " who are you and why do you have a better seat than me" eye from the rows behind. Their suspicions are true and they are probably far more important than me. But, sadly for them someone who is more important than they are loves me! The show was crazy packed and didn't get a chance to sort out what fabulous people were there but I know Man Repeller and Tavi were there. Rock on ladies, rock on.

Sergio Davila Fall 2011
9:00am is NOT a civil hour for fashion people! I arrived at the show by 9:00 sharp (these things are always late) but I didn't want to loose my standing room position! Luckily, the place was empty and as often happens when shows don't fill they allow everyone to move in, so i got my seat! Peoples Revolution was putting the show so I got to see Kell running around in a head set - she is actually really nice in person despite the show footage. Photos later!

Spiegel
Today I got to work with Guliana R from E news! She is working with Spiegel for their spring magazine and came into do some videos today. Not only is she genuinely a happy and smiley person, but she is also professional and lovely to work with. Above all I appreciate more than anything her professionalism. At the end of the shoot she shook my hand and thanked me for the day. A hand shake not a hug. I love this woman! In a industry where hugs and kisses are given so freely, I truly appreciate a firm business handshake. And that's what it is business. No wonder she is so successful!
Starting Today
Why a blog now? My brilliant brand and marketing minded cousin Erin(and proprietress of epiffany) told me MONTHS ago that I needed to start branding myself. Start a blog. Tweet. Facebook. So I am taking her advice and getting on the social media train. I'm not sure about the tweeting or a business Facebook account yet, but I'm sure in due time it will happen.
